Dr. Wadlington is in private practice in Beverly Hills and Pasadena California. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults for over sixteen years providing clinical services in the form of individual, family, couple and group therapy.
Dr. Wadlington’s assessment experience includes conducting psychological and forensic evaluations to a wide variety of patient populations, including candidates for Cosmetic and Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Wadlington’s clinical specialization includes working with survivors of abuse, individuals suffering from mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorders, interpersonal development concerns, relationship and parenting issues. In addition,
Dr. Wadlington has worked with the challenging population of juvenile and high risk adult offenders.
Dr. Wadlington has authored “The Correlates of Depression in Black Sexually Abused Girls” and has co-authored “ Ethnic Differences in the Psychological Functioning Among Black and Latino Sexually Abused Girls”. In addition Dr. Wadlington has conducted research and presented findings at various National Conferences regarding “The Impact of Traumatic Events on Foster Youth”.
Dr. Wadlington is a graduate of the California School of Professional Psychology and received her clinical training from University of Southern California, University of California, Riverside, Loyola Marymount University and King Drew Medical Center.
Dr. Wadlington also lends her clinical expertise to consult within the private sector as well as community organizations and media.
Dr. Wadlington is a frequent lecturer while teaching graduate courses at Pepperdine University.
